Solexperts - Geotechnical Consulting Service
Measurement concepts, selection of measurement systems. Our engineers and measurement technicians are familiar with a wide range of measurement systems, know their advantages and disadvantages and have extensive experience regarding their possible applications. This applies both to the measuring instruments developed and produced by Solexperts and to instruments and sensors from other manufacturers. Instrumentation concepts are therefore often developed in close cooperation with our customers and the engineers and geologists responsible for the project.
Solexperts - Field Installations and Instrumentation Services
The quality of geotechnical measurements depends on many factors. One of the most important aspects is the professional installation of the measurement systems. Many years of experience in instrumentation is one of the great strengths of our company, which is now 75 years old.
Solexperts - Rock Laboratory Tests Service
Solexperts collaborates with national and international organisations in radioactive waste repository research. These include NAGRA, ENSI, Swisstopo, PSI, EAWAG, ETHZ, EPFL and CHYN (Switzerland), ANDRA, CEA and IRSN (France), BfS, BGR, GRS, DBE, RWTH and KTI (Germany), ENRESA (Spain), SCK-CEN and ONDRAF (Belgium), CRIEPI, JAEA, NUMO (Japan), KRMC/KAERI (Korea) and BRIUG (China). Repository projects place the highest quality demands on instrumentation, test performance, data analysis and reporting.
Solexperts - Temperature Measurement Service
Temperature measurements of environment (air temperature), groundwater, soil and building components play an important role in geotechnics and hydrogeology.
Solexperts - Pore Water Pressure Measurement Service
Solexperts has the experience and technology to professionally equip boreholes with multiple piezometers and multiple pore water pressure transducers. For this purpose, the measurement horizons are separated from each other by a special sealing compound and filter sections of defined length are built up from quartz sand. In contrast to permanently installed non-removable sensors, the Piezopress offers the advantage that the sensors can be removed and checked, hydraulic tests can be carried out and water samples can be taken. To measure the pore water pressures, we use manual measuring devices, data loggers, e.g. of the type SDL-G with GPRS data transmission and threshold alarms, or the GeoMonitor system.
Solexperts - Maintenance Service
Regular maintenance in our workshops by our specialist staff is the reason for the proverbial longevity of our geotechnical measuring instruments, in addition to the robust design and continuous product care. Sustainability is important to us.

Solexperts - Static Pile Load Test Services
Static pile load tests, in vertical and horizontal directions, are used to test foundation piles for their load-bearing capacity and serviceability. The skin friction along the vertically loaded pile or the bedding along the horizontally loaded pile can be determined via the occurring deformation.
Solexperts - Pile Integrity Testing with Crosshole Sonic Logging Services
The Koden gauge is an system based on ultrasonic distance measurement and is used to measure the shape and deviation of pile and diaphragm wall bores. Therefore, an echo sonar is lowered vertically along the axis of the borehole and the distance to the borehole wall is continuously determined and precisely recorded in one or two directions. In addition, borehole wall breakouts can be identified and captured.

Solexperts - Vibration Measurement Service
Construction work such as soil compaction, pile driving or blasting can cause damage to buildings and technical installations. Roads and railway tracks can generate vibrations affecting the conditions and living qualities of properties or the operation of technical facilities. Vibration measurements are also useful as an early warning system, for example in landslide areas or if the risk exists, that blasting or other construction work might trigger mass movements.
