Solvias’ unparalleled experience and state-of-the-art services are founded on our long history of involvement in the pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and fine chemicals sectors. This is where our expertise emerged from.
It all began in the former Ciba-Geigy as part of the global central research, later then the central research services. After the merger with Sandoz, we operated as a scientific 'competence center' for Novartis. The turning point came with the management buy-out in 1999, a symbol of the management’s belief in the future of the company.
This development crystallized a stronger focus on our core competences, so that today Solvias can offer its clients unique technology and know-how in the areas of analytical, biopharmaceutical and chemical development, and thereby contribute to their success.
