Abraclad plates, specifically ABRACLAD 60, offer an innovative solution to combat heavy wear in industries such as mining, quarrying, and earthmoving. These plates consist of a base construction steel, S235JR, overlaid with a weld-on layer containing robust chrome carbides. Starting with a minimum hardness of 60 Rockwell C, Abraclad plates are particularly suited for highly forceful processes, enduring three to five times longer than conventional AR 400 plates. These overlay plates can be cut with plasma or waterjet but not with laser, and are available in both standard and custom dimensions.

COR-TEN® A is a type of weathering steel pioneered by United States Steel Corporation, known for its atmospheric corrosion resistance and tensile strength. This steel alloy integrates elements like copper, chromium, nickel, and phosphorus, forming a protective oxide layer or patina that enhances corrosion resistance upon exposure to atmospheric conditions.
