This camera series use silicon photodiode array linescan detectors. They have high sensitivity with low noise. They are complete and only require connecting to a standard PC interface, USB, RS232 or parallel port. Also available with cooling for long integration periods.

This camera uses a unique system to realise a dual detector camera. Spacing between the two detectors is continuously variable between 0 and 15 mm. This makes setting up optical systems much simpler. A wide range of detector types can be fitted to the camera. This includes low cost CCD, Cooled CCD, Cooled InGaAs or photodiode arrays. Applications include dual channel spectroscopy and optical metrology. Connection to a PC using standard interfaces, USB, RS232 or parallel port.

InGaAs cameras are sensitive to IR light in the range from 0.9µm up to 1.67µm or 2.55µm. All types have a 16 bit digital output with 1 Mbyte of internal data storage. A choice of interfaces for connection to a PC. Formats available are either 256 or 512 pixels. With pixels heights of 250um or 500um µm. Pixel pitch of 25µm (512 pixels) or 50µm (256 pixels); These cameras are cooled to -10°C or optionally to -30°C with water cooling.

This series of Cameras are the most sensitive in the Spectronic Line. Suitable for demanding low light level spectroscopy. They use CCD full frame detectors from Hamamatsu. The detectors are two dimensional arrays with pixel formats of 64 X 512 up to 256 X 1024. They provide digital outputs of electro-optical signals so that, in conjunction with microprocessors or personal computers, evaluation of signals can be readily implemented without the user having to possess specialized knowledge of electronics. PC interfaces available USB, RS232 and Parallel port. Driver software and demonstration software supplied. The detectors are used in "line Binning" mode". This effectively produces a detector of just one line of 512 or 1024 pixels. This results in very high sensitivity and very low noise.

These Line Cameras are innovate electro-optical transducer assemblies for high speed detection of optical radiation. They provide digital outputs of electro-optical signals so that, in conjunction with microprocessors or personal computers, evaluation of signals can be readily implemented without the user having to possess specialized knowledge of electronics. The cameras may be used as direct replacements for single detector, scanning spectrometers and spectrophotometers, as well as being used for precise measurements in low light level conditions.
