Steamology

The World`s Fastest Steamcar. The Steamology team broke the land speed record for a steam powered car at Edwards AFB in California in August 2009. This was the oldest standing land speed record set in 1906 at 127mph by Fred Marriot in a Stanley steamcar. The British Steamcar was driven by a steam turbine with advanced high pressure LPG flash boilers. This project provided the inspiration for Steamology to commercially exploit the technology legacy of the successful landspeed world record attempt, to explore the potential of clean green renewable hydrogen steam.
