Sterlitech HP4750 Stirred Cells
The Sterlitech HP4750 stirred cell is a high-pressure stirred cell that is both chemically resistant and features a low hold-up volume (1 ml). This particular brand of stirred cell is able to perform a wide variety of membrane separations.
HP4750 Stirred Cell Product Benefits:
Max operating pressure is 1000 psi
Removable PTFE stir bar
316 stainless steel
Sterlitech HP4750X Stirred Cell
The Sterlitech HP4750X Stirred Cell is designed and manufactured to provide many years of trouble-free operation. The HP4750X Stirred Cell is just one of a number of products that Sterlitech manufactures for membrane research and small-scale production. The instruction manual describes the functions, features, configuration, start-up, and operation of the HP4750X Stirred Cell. HP4750X Stirred Cell is a high-pressure chemical resistant stirred cell that performs a wide variety of membrane separations. With a maximum pressure rating of 172 bar (2500 psig) at ambient temperatures, the HP4750X Stirred Cell is ideally suited for reverse osmosis (RO) filtration.
Membrane Cell System
Sepa CF II Membrane Cell System is a lab scale cross-flow membrane filtration unit that provides fast and accurate performance data with minimal amounts of membrane, product, expense, and time. Its unique patented* design simulates the flow dynamics of larger, commercially available membrane elements. Users can vary the operating conditions and fluid dynamics over broad ranges. Whether used as a membrane evaluation device, process development tool, or for small-scale production, the Sepa CF II Membrane Cell System from Sterlitech has the features and benefits that today’s users demand.
Sterlitech CF042 Cell
The Sterlitech CF042 membrane cell is a lab scale cross flow filtration unit that is designed to provide fast and accurate performance data with minimal amounts of product, expense, and time. The CF042 can be used in a variety of applications and with a variety of membranes. The cell is generally used for water studies, biotechnology, food and beverage applications, and membrane studies.
Sterlitech Flat Sheet Polymeric Membranes
Sterlitech features a full offering of GE Osmonics, Koch, Toray, and TriSep flat sheet membranes for use in our process filtration units and other bench scale test equipment including our HP4750 stirred cell, CF042 cell, or the Sepa CF II membrane cell system. Our flat sheet polymeric membranes are also ideal for any process requiring the testing of a variety of separation techniques.
Sterlitech membranes come in the following separation ranges:
Reverse osmosis (RO) flat sheet membrane
Nanofiltraton (NF) flat sheet membrane
Ultrafiltration (UF) flat sheet membrane
Microfiltration (MF) flat sheet membrane
All of our flat sheet polymeric membranes are available in rectangles, squares, or pre-cut to fit our process filtration units (ask about cutting for the CF042). Custom sizes and larger quantities are also available upon request.
CF042 Acrylic Crossflow Cell
The CF042AC is the first transparent crossflow filtration cell. This bench scale model is made from acrylic and now allows visual monitoring for easier use with applications such as membrane development testing and flat sheet membrane quality assurance.
Valisette Ceramic Test Cell
The Valisette ceramic test cell kit is made of 316L stainless steel and is designed for choosing the best crossflow/tangential flow ceramic membrane for your separation procedure.
The Valisette ceramic test cell unit is 250mm long and works with tubular ceramic membranes. The recommended re-circulating flow rate is between 200 and 600 liters/hour. Additional laboratory filtration equipment required includes a feed flow pump, tubing, and a storage tank.
The Valisette ceramic test cell kit can be used with the Inside Ceram (active layers vary by porosity) or Filtanium (titaniam oxide) ceramic membranes.Membranes are sold separately in customizable packs of 4. A combination of cutoffs is optimal. These ceramic membranes are available in Microfiltration, Ultrafiltration, and Nanofiltration varieties.
Manual / Automatic SDI Kits
Sterlitech SDI Kit (Silt Density Index for water and wastewater) are available in two types, manual and automatic.
Manual SDI Kit includes pressure regulator, filter holder and necessary valving and tubing. See the "Applications" section for additional parts required.
Auto SDI tester automatically calculates a relative value for the amount of suspended matter in feedwater streams. Plug the unit in and it will run the calculations for you.
The MCE membrane is used for the SDI, our part number MCE4547100.
Sterlitech Stirred Cells
Our stirred cells have a tangential flow design to increase membrane and sample life.
Stirred Cell Product Benefits:
All contact surfaces are non-metal (polycarbonate or acrylic barrel, polyacetal end caps)
Clear plastic reservoir allows for visual monitoring of fluid level and sample condition
Pressure relief valve supplied (65 psi)
Hollow Fiber Membranes
Our collection of Hollow Fiber Membranes provide larger process capacity with easy scale-up and scale-down processes. These reusable cartridges feature a PES membrane with higher membrane flux for greater capacity and yield. The cartridges are also made with standard connections and consistent design to ensure hassle-free scaling.
Hollow Fiber Membrane Product Benefits:
Antifouling membrane properties produce high, sustainable flow rates.
100% factory integrity testing ensures reliable product performance.
Wide selection of pore sizes and molecular weight cut-offs (MWCO) to match your application.
