The SF-DISC module for deep-bed filters is made of filter cells, which in turn consist of two filter sheets. Two filter sheet blanks and a plastic drainage disc are joined together to form a filter cell. The edge of the filter cell is sealed by edge molding. Several filter cells are then assembled to form a filter module. The drainage is located on the clear side of the two filter sheets, which means that the direction of flow is from the outside to the inside. The outer edge of the filter is given an injection-molded polypropylene frame, creating a closed filtration system.

The SF 200 sheet filter was developed especially for the specific requirements of small quantities in real-world applications and is suitable for filtering slightly turbid liquid foods. It is mainly necessary for sterilizing or clarifying filtration and is used as a laboratory filter as well as a wine and spirits filter.

The four-eye design of the filter plate in this classic sheet filter ensures ideal inflow behavior and thus efficient use of the filter sheets. The SF 1000 B is used as a sheet filter or a diatomaceous earth (DE) filter, especially for beer filtration.

Filter presses are pressure filters in which a filter pack formed by filter plates and filter frames or chamber plates is arranged in a frame between a “fixed cover” and a “loose cover.” Filter presses are used in the food and beverage industry and in the chemical, pharmaceutical or environmental sector. There they are often used as laboratory filters, wine filters or juice filters.

The DOS 500 dosing unit for diatomaceous earth (DE) and other filter aids ensures uniform mixing and precisely adjustable dosing of the filter aid. Thanks to the frequency-controlled agitator, the formation of foam can be prevented (optional). With the help of DE filtration, wine can be filtered in a chamber filter press and beer in plate filters and frame filters, for example.
