Strongwell`s lightweight, high strength fiberglass baffle panels are ideal for underwater flow control applications. These panels have a longer life cycle than wood, concrete, or steel baffle panels which are subject to rot or corrosion, and are, therefore, more cost effective than those alternatives. The lightweight panels are easy to install and can be easily removed for cleaning and access. Baffle panels are available in 12" and 24" widths for easy fabrication and installation of new systems or the rehabilitation of existing systems. Baffles can be mounted to existing columns, attached to H-beams or attached to concrete walls with clip angles.

Strongwell’s HS Armor fiberglass armor panels are designed for ballistics resistance. The panels are manufactured using specially constructed glass reinforcements in a proprietary resin matrix. The panel components are then cured in a controlled cycle.

COMPOSOLITE is a patented advanced composite building panel system suitable for major load bearing structural applications. The modular construction system consists of a small number of interlocking fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) structural components produced by the pultrusion process. The main building panels are 3.15" (80mm) thick and either 23.68" or 13.70" (601.5mm or 348.0mm) wide and feature a cellular construction. Through the use of toggles and/or hangers, panels can be connected to one another, to 3-way connectors, or to 45 degree connectors.

Strongwell’s EXTREN DWB® (Double Web Beam) was developed through a three-year cooperative program between Strongwell and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Advanced Technology Program (ATP). The goal of Strongwell’s ATP project was to design, develop and produce an optimized fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) structural shape for use in heavy structures such as vehicular bridges and offshore drilling platforms. The program included the development of manufacturing processes and equipment to produce this product. The result of Strongwell’s efforts is a double web beam with carbon fibers in the top and bottom flanges for increased stiffness.

Originally developed for American Electric Power, Strongwell`s COMPOSOLITE^® Secondary Containment System is ideal for use in any application requiring secure containment of liquid or solid materials. The lightweight, high strength pultruded fiberglass Containment System is much easier and more cost effective to install than poured-in-place concrete or earthen containment alternatives. The system also can easily be installed in confined or remote areas and easily removed if necessary.

The fabrication group is supported by a strong engineering team including registered professional structural engineers experienced in FRP design and AutoCAD detailers who translate requirements into shop drawings.
