After successful completion of the R&D phase and application engineering SunCoal carries out engineering services for its customers as a basis for an industrial hydrothermal treatment plant for the generation of high-value carbon products from biomass streams. Follow up detailed feasibility studies and consulting services are offered as well. For construction and commissioning SunCoal collaborates with internationally renowned partners (e.g. Valmet and JJ-Lurgi) to get production up and running on time and within budget. Depending on the customer`s needs, it is also possible to implement a project independently by purchasing SunCoal`s Technology License.

SunCoal`s offer to carry out the entire R&D process results in a successful value generation. It typically starts in the laboratory with feedstock screening experiments (gram scale).The next step is a small sample production (kilogram scale) of technical carbons, bio-based chemicals, biofuels or filter-cake from the customer feedstock. In case of promising results from process and quality management as well as application tests, the sample production will be up-scaled in the pilot plant (ton scale). Afterwards, SunCoal cooperates with partners from industry and research in order to validate the generated product samples during application engineering.

SunCoal offers its customers and external clients to run different commissioned work operated by its highly qualified employees in its technial center.

For the quality management and application engineering of SunCoal`s functional filler technology SunCoal runs an own rubber laboratory at the technology center in Ludwigsfelde.
