SunCoal`s offer to carry out the entire R&D process results in a successful value generation. It typically starts in the laboratory with feedstock screening experiments (gram scale).The next step is a small sample production (kilogram scale) of technical carbons, bio-based chemicals, biofuels or filter-cake from the customer feedstock. In case of promising results from process and quality management as well as application tests, the sample production will be up-scaled in the pilot plant (ton scale). Afterwards, SunCoal cooperates with partners from industry and research in order to validate the generated product samples during application engineering.
