The Sunpal Solar Air Conditioner Hybrid Energy System is an innovative solution for energy-efficient home climate control. This system combines solar power and grid electricity, using a hybrid ACDC system capable of delivering cooling power between 9000 and 24000 BTUs. By utilizing R32 refrigerant, it ensures lower environmental impact and enhances sustainability. The system's energy efficiency is demonstrated by its capacity to save up to 100% of energy during daytime operation by directly employing DC power sourced from solar panels, reducing conversion losses. It seamlessly switches between solar and grid power, ensuring uninterrupted service regardless of solar conditions. Designed to operate efficiently within the temperature range of -15°C to +50°C, it performs reliably in various climates. It has potential to operate entirely off-grid with voltage options of 90–380V for DC and 200–230V for AC, offering versatility and independence from the electrical grid.

It is engineered with a nominal capacity of 100Ah, tested at a 20-hour rate with a discharge to 1.75V per cell, ensuring stable operation even under high load demands. The design boasts a service life of 15 years with exceptional cycle longevity, and it supports a wide temperature range from -40°C to 60°C for discharging and -20°C to 50°C for charging, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. The battery's flame-retardant ABS casing provides enhanced safety and durability. Notably, it can deliver a high instantaneous discharge current of 1000A for five seconds, ideal for emergency high-power applications like inverter startups. However, its capacity may significantly drop under extreme temperatures, particularly in cold conditions. For optimal performance, usage within a temperature range of 25°C±5°C is recommended.
