Asbestos surveying and removal are specialist services demanding the highest standards of operation and procedural control. Our philosophy is not only to comply with the onerous legislation pertaining to working with asbestos, but to exceed these requirements.

Our team is fully qualified to undertake building surveys and bulk sampling in order to locate asbestos still present within buildings, factories and installations. On a project-by-project basis the best course of action is determined, based on the condition and location of the asbestos and other local considerations.  Upon completion of the survey a decision can be made on the course of action to take. For example, it may be concluded that the asbestos is safest left in place undisturbed, or it may be necessary to encapsulate the asbestos using non-asbestos material, or it may be determined that the best course of action is to carry out a controlled asbestos removal.

In today`s safety conscious work place, the preferred option is of no-man entry into a confined space; accordingly Sureclean has developed a range of technologies and methods using tank cleaning heads, vacuum transfer systems and other pumping solutions to clean tanks and vessels either remotely or with minimum man entry.

High (HP) pressure and Ultra High (UHP) water jetting (also known as water cutting or hydroblasting) are the most powerful and environmentally sensitive cleaning techniques available to industry.

The combination of harnessed high pressure water with a sharp edged abrasive is an incredibly effective which can be utilised for cold cutting, particularly effective on steel, concrete and other composite materials. Water jet cutting using this methodology is contact-free with no significant heat generation or deformation and the diversity of the UHP jetting units allows the flow and pressure outputs to be selected to achieve maximum efficiency over a range of applications.

In the oil and gas industry, the drilling sector plays a crucial role in the search for petroleum and natural gas. Offshore exploration and development wells are often drilled from mobile offshore drilling units and depending on the water depth and remoteness of the location, these “rigs” may be jack-ups (up to 400 feet of water), or semisubmersibles, or drillships (up to 12,000 feet of water). Sureclean are a major service provider in supporting Inshore Rig Maintenance, SPS and Shipyard Upgrade activities.In support of our clients we have facilities located in Alness, adjacent to the Cromarty Firth, home to a deep water port which facilitates the inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM), special periodic surveys (SPS) and shipyard upgrades of mobile offshore drilling units (MODU`s), Drill Ships, Rigs (Submersible, Semi-Submersibles and Jack Ups), Barges and Vessels.
