Specializing in large structural design, SynTechnics engineers have successfully developed innovative Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) covering systems for the railroad, marine, and wastewater treatment industries. With an eye toward the future, SynTechnics continues to explore new applications for its fiberglass products. SynTechnics manufactures female molded FRP Environmental Covering Systems (ECS) including Domes up to 132’ clear span, Arches up to 90’ clear span, and Flat Covers up to 50’ clear span. Projects of note include 4 @ 132’ diameter Dome Covers in Oklahoma City, OK; 18 @ 100’ diameter Dome Covers in Akron, OH; 1 @ 87’ clear span Barrel Arch in Bloomingdale, IL; 8 @ 76’ diameter Dome Covers in Pittsburgh, PA; and 2 acres of Flat Covers in Carlsbad, CA.
