More than one million VacuTect tests have been performed around the world. It is the staple of our tank testing technologies. The system is certified to test tanks at virtually any product level. With as little as 6` of product inside the tank, VacuTect provides a conclusive result. How it works: VacuTect works by introducing a vacuum into the tank to create a slight negative pressure, so that any leak is shown by an ingress of air or water. A leak below the tank fluid level generates a unique `bubble` signature that is transmitted by the probe to the mobile unit. Leaks above the fluid level produce a distinctive hissing sound. All signals are recorded and transmitted to the regional office for further review by a quality control manager, prior to the finalization of the test.

Inspecting the inside of an underground storage tank is not a simple matter. It requires evacuation of the fuel in the tank, then entry by a person into the confined, hazardous environment. It`s risky and it`s expensive. Our revolutionary PetroScope system provides a detailed inspection of a tank`s interior, but eliminates the need for manned entry – resulting in a safer and considerably less expensive inspection.

The SureTest testing technology utilizes a combination of three testing methods: The SureTest System - Volumetric method used to test the `wet` portion of the tank. The U3 Acoustic Ullage System - Non-volumetric method used to test the ullage or `dry` portion of a tank. The TLD1 System - Method used to test the lines.
