Safety
Team’s highest priority is the safety of our employees, clients, and other contractors. We are committed to a culture that incorporates safety, behavior and prevention throughout all Team operations and field services. Why? Because it’s the Right Thing to Do!
This past year, while working over 8.5 million man-hours, Team continued to reduce injury rates that truly reflected every employee’s dedication to safety. From Sr. Management to the newest employee, we share a commitment to our number one objective: “Protect the health and safety of our employees”
Team continues to build upon proven safety programs, processes, and training. These elements have been developed and verified to ensure compliance with Federal, State, Client and Third-Party Consortiums.
Team’s comprehensive programs continue to assist our efforts in improving every aspect of HSE. Some include:
- Road Map to World Class Safety – Outlines Team’s dedicated path to achieve a “World Class” safety culture. This is obtained through; 1) Compliance; 2) Involvement; and 3) Leadership; by every member of the organization.
- A “mental process” that triggers key questions employees should ask themselves prior to performing any task.
- “Seven Critical Choices” – These “Choices” focus on activities most likely to result in death or serious injury if rules are not followed.
- “L.E.A.D.E.R Process – Leadership observation “tool” providing management with a process that promotes greater involvement and interaction with employees.
To assist Team in taking the next steps in our safety journey, we solicited the services of world renowned safety consultant, “DuPont Safety Resources”. In 2011 they performed a companywide assessment to evaluate our culture and processes. While the assessment included an in-depth review of corporate, operational, and employee factors, the most appreciative comment we received during this assessment was: “Team Get’s It”!
As we continue our efforts to sustain the level of commitment expected of all employees, our daily goal continues to be ZERO incidents. Some of our targeted milestones will be to;
- exceed our record number of injury free days,
- reduce the number of Lost Time injuries,
- reduce preventable auto accidents,
We have an outstanding culture at Team and at the bases of this culture - is our “Core Values”
- Safety First
- Integrity –
- Service Leadership –
- Innovation -
- And pride and Respect
These are our values, beliefs and attitudes that are shared by all, throughout the entire organization!
