Econtrol - Control Valves
The ECONTROL VC-100 and VC-101 range of globe control valves are a time-tested icon in regulation service. The VC-100s are ECONTROL`s main contribution to all process industries throughout Europe & worldwide and have been successfully in service over the last three decades.
The VC-100s feature the ultimate range of designs in two-way and three-way arrangement (single seated, double seated...) and optional features (noise reduction trim, anti-cavitation trim, bespoke designs...) is available. Econtrol - Emergency Shut Down Valves
The ECONTROL Emergency Shut Down Valves (ESDV, ESD, ESV, SDV) are used to isolate pressure and flow from a particular source during an overpressure situation or detection of a dangerous event. ESD valves are integrated into the design of the plant system equipment and can be installed in-line to any location upstream, midstream or downstream.
Econtrol - High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS)
The ECONTROL range of High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) is an engineered mechanical and electrical system by our V.E.U. engineers, designed in order to reduce the chance that the protected facility pressure will exceed the maximum allowable pressure. The protection against overpressure is obtained by immediately isolating the source causing the overpressure. The entire HIPPS package consists of initiators, a logic solver and the final element. The initiators are field sensors that are the inputs required to detect the hazardous condition. The logic solver process these inputs and generates correct outputs that change the state of the final elements in order to mitigate the hazardous condition. The ECONTROL HIPPS packages are used in the energy sector in order to provide pressure protection of pipelines, piping, vessels and process packages against over pressure, allowing the use of lower design pressure downstream the HIPPS.
Econtrol - Motor Operated Valves (MOV)
The ECONTROL Motor Operated Valves (MOV) family of valves are an important item of Plant & Piping system. These valves are generally of large size and are used for different applications such as pump discharge etc. Motor Operated Valves are often called as On-Off valves as the motors serve the purpose of fully opening or fully closing valves in pipelines. For example, cooling water lines, process pipelines where regulation of fluid is not required, motor operated valves can be used to fully allow or fully stop the fluid flow. These valves are not used for throttling or precise control / regulation purposes as they serve mainly On-Off service application.
Econtrol - Single and Double Block and Bleed Valves
The ECONTROL BB-100 and DBB-100 single and double block and bleed valves (BB and DBB) are isolation devices that feature two in-line isolation valves and a bleed point, used to drain or vent trapped fluid between the two line closure elements, in order to safely isolate the downstream piping. The expanding activity in the oil and gas offshore sector and the energy industry leads to additional factors that have to be taken into consideration when designing piping systems. Space in these locations is always an issue and the design of piping systems and their associated components must therefore be more compact. There are structural constraints that are also very important, such as keeping the structure as light as possible, and there are obvious benefits from making components smaller and lighter. Construction site job is also very expensive and any reduction in installation manpower is also beneficial.

Econtrol - Plug Valves
ECONTROL`s VP-100-NL plug valves series are especially designed for sea water desalination plants, RO plants, general sea water process, brackish water networks, brine process and other highly corrosive environments. ECONTROL leads the worldwide market for this application with over 10.000 units delivered since the first pilot prototype plants built in Spain in the early 1980s and its currently introducing the third generation of high pressure plug valves with the latest design improvements. ECONTROL has supplied EPC and BOT projects worldwide in great partnership with customers. The special ECONTROL third generation design accommodates changes in temperature, high vacuum as well as rated pressures, while still maintaining complete shut off.

Econtrol - Post Indicator Valves
ECONTROL Post Indicator Valves VG-100-PIV series are designed to operate non-rising stem (inside screw) gate valves of our VG series, which are used to control an underground water supply to automatic sprinkler, water spray deluge, fire water line, foam-water deluge, or standpipe fire protection systems. PIV permit operation of underground valves while providing an above ground useful visual indication as to whether the valves are open or shut, in addition to a means for locking the valves in a particular position. The valve posts provide for valve operation from outside of the protected property and therefore the opportunity for immediate valve operation in an emergency situation.
