Tekmar - Model HT3 - Automated Static and Dynamic Headspace Vial Sampler System
Static Headspace analysis is a time-tested and robust technique for the analysis of volatile compounds in almost any matrix. The popularity of the technique is due to Headspace analysis providing a clean, reliable result. Teledyne Tekmar draws on our experience as a leader in low-level VOC analysis with the introduction of a next generation Headspace instrument, the HT3™ Static and Dynamic Headspace System. Dramatic improvements in sensitivity are achieved with the new Dynamic Headspace option, while maintaining the ruggedness and reliability of a traditional Static Headspace instrument.
Tekmar - Model Versa - Automated Headspace Vial Sampler
Static headspace is one of the most popular techniques due to its versatility for analyzing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in a complex variety of matrices. This is due to the elimination of tedious sample preparation steps and prevents contamination problems that are common to other sample introduction techniques. Teledyne Tekmar draws on our experience as a leader in low-level VOC analysis with the introduction of this companion autosampler to the Headspace product line. Versa is the perfect solution for applications which require all the advantages of headspace analysis and is economical to fit any budget.
AQUATek - Model 100 - Waters-Only Autosampler
The AQUATek 100 is a purge and trap autosampler that automates the sample preparation steps for the analysis of liquid samples utilizing a fixed volume sample loop filled using a pressurization gas. Two independent volume programmable internal standards are then added to the sample and the entire aliquot is transferred to the Purge and Trap for compound concentration and subsequent separation and detection using a GC/GC-MS quantification system.
Atomx - Automated VOC Sample Prep System
The Atomx Automated VOC Sample Preparation system combines an Autosampler and Purge and Trap into a single instrument for the analysis of VOCs in soils and waters. This is the first of its kind and only system that employs a unique methanol extraction automation feature for high level soils in accordance with USEPA Method 5035. Extractasol clean-up step in the Atomx reduces carryover or cross contamination normally associated with high-level water or soil analysis. Three new independent injection systems for internal standards, surrogates, and matrix spikes provide the ability to select variable volumes without generating waste. The Atomx features Tekmar’s proven carousel drive capable of holding 80 vials for optimal throughput therefore reducing downtime. While priced competitively, this system offers unique features that cannot be found on other sample prep systems on the market today.
Tekmar - Model Stratum - Purge and Trap Concentrator (PTC)
The Stratum Purge and Trap Concentrator (PTC) is a sample preparation instrument used to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) out of aqueous and solid sample types using Helium or Nitrogen. The VOCs are deposited onto a sorbent trap which is then heated thus releasing the VOCs into a Gas Chromatograph (GC) system. This technique is standard for many EPA Methodologies as well as analytical options where concentration of VOCs is required. Teledyne Tekmar has been the leader in this technology since its first PTC was released in the 1980s. Tekmar has continued to improve on this technique through eight generations of systems including the Stratum PTC to meet the ever increasing analytical challenges faced by laboratories.
Apollo - Model 9000 TN - Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer
The Apollo 9000 Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer uses combustion (680°C to 1000°C) with a patented reusable platinum catalyst for the lowest detection limits while maximizing TOC recovery. This TOC technique has the characteristics of being effective for difficult to oxidize compounds such as proteins, particulates and samples with high salt content. The analytical methodology implemented by the Apollo 9000 Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer optimizes rinsing on every injection to prevent carryover. The Apollo 9000 Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer is best for applications requiring particulate analysis such as wastewater and industrial effluents, as well as drinking, surface, seawaters, brines and certain Clean-in-Place (CIP) applications.
AQUATek - Model 70 - Vial Autosampler
With the AQUATek 70, you can achieve the highest sample throughput on the market. Attain maximum sample capacity and throughput and improve your laboratory’s productivity with 70 sample positions. AQUATek 70 automatically measures the sample from each vial, adds a standard solution, and then transfers it to a Purge and Trap Sample Concentrator for analysis. With AQUATek’s automatic sample volume measurement and automatic standard injections, even when you walk away, you can rest assured that AQUATek 70 is performing.
Phoenix - Model 8000 - UV-Persulfate TOC Analyzer
The UV persulfate method of TOC analysis technique achieves outstanding analytical accuracy, precision and long-term calibration stability due to its ability to inject high sample volumes (up to 20 mL) and low system background. Virtually any component can be accessed in less than two minutes. Glassware is placed at the front of the unit for easy access and monitoring. Sample and gas lines are color coded for quick identification. Internal components are carefully laid out with the customer in mind. As a result, down time and cost of operation is kept to a minimum.
SOLATek - Model 72 - Multi-Matrix Vial Autosampler
Attain maximum throughput with 72-vial capacity, the highest quality sample pathway materials, and automated multiple additions for internal standard, surrogate and matrix spikes. Automation features for maximum efficiency include three standard injection systems, QC sampling, dilutions of up to 1:250, and multiple standard injection volumes for calibration processes. Silcosteel®-treated fittings include the sample needle and needle block which ensure superior analytical performance.
Tekmar Velocity - Model XPT - Accelerated Purge and Trap System
Velocity XPT is more than a next-generation Purge and Trap system, it`s a revolutionary leap in technology. Advancements in Velocity XPT ensure the highest throughput with the least amount of downtime. From cutting sample cycle time nearly in half, to built-in intelligent diagnostics, Velocity XPT is the most productive Purge and Trap available today. With the Velocity XPT, you increase the sample throughput up to 100%. This nearly double sample throughput and increases the profitability of your VOC lab without the cost of an additional GC system. Patent-pending Accelerated Purge and Trap technology lets you independently control the flow rate during all modes, greatly reducing dry purge and bake times. Velocity XPT also provides a 25% reduction in trap cool down time after bake mode.
