Centrifuges

Tema - Conturbex Screen Scroll Centrifuge

The construction and working method of the Conturbex Screen/Scroll Centrifuge is shown in the cross sectional drawing. Drive unit, bearings, rotating parts in the liquids chamber and the solids discharge are clearly visible and easily accessible for maintenance. The drive is by vee-belts and the speed of the rotating parts is chosen to sult the process requirements. A cyclo gear unit ensures the necessary differential speed between worm and basket, even with a high friction between the two. An overload protection system prevents damage to the cyclo gear unit.

Screening Machines

Liwell - Flip Flow Screening Machines

LIWELL screening machines have been in operation for decades and are the guarantor for optimal technology in classing feed materials which are difficult to screen.

Jigs

Tema - Pulsator Jigs

For a successful separation according to density, especially if there is only a slight difference in density, it is often not sufficient simply to whirl the material around in a counterflow. It is necessary to provide a vertically pulsating flow through the material bed that allows the material to stratify. The SIEBTECHNIK pulsator jigs were designed for separating light and heavy components from primary and secondary feed materials according to density, e.g. contaminants from sand and gravel, slag, demolition debris, contaminated soils or for ore pre-dressing.

Sample Taking & Prep

Tema - Sample Taking Systems

To be understood under the term "sampling" are all work procedures necessary to remove a quantity of samples in such a manner that they largely correspond to the total quantity with regard to quality and without systematic errors. Subsequent "sample preparation" includes all requisite work procedures to bring the sample material obtained in sampling into the condition prescribed for the subsequent examinations. To be taken into account in subsequent sample preparation is that the collection sample from the individual samples reflects the homogeneity of the material to be sampled. In all work procedures, special care is required to ensure that the sample is prepared without loss of characteristics worth mentioning (e.g. water content).

Tema Mill

Tema - Single & Double Roller Mills

Single roller mills are used, for example, for comminuting coal, coke, limestone and the like. With these machines, pieces approx. 30 - 120 mm in size can be crushed to a size of less than approx. 5 - 10 mm.

Tema - Hammer & Hammer Impact Mills

Hammer and hammer impact mills are suitable for crushing soft to medium hard materials (degrees of hardness according to F. Mohs 2 - 5).

Tema - Drum Mills

Discontinuous drum mills are applied to fine and micro pulverization (in the micrometer range) and simultaneous mixing of relatively coarse materials (up to approx. 30 to 40 mm) of all degrees of hardness. Depending on the nature of the grinding material, differentiation is made between dry and wet grinding

Tema - Laboratory Disc Mill

For the continuous grinding the model T 750 k in connection could be used with a special continuous grinding chamber. The throughout depends on the material characteristics and the finess of the grinded material. A dosing unit is available as am accessory.

Conveyor Belts

Tema - Wire Mesh Conveyor Belts

STEINHAUS Wire mesh conveyor belts are available in various designs. They are made of wires or cords in numerous metallic materials.
