Terra Wash

Terra - Soil Washing Units (SWU)

The TW75 was developed from work done by Larry Wood during the Exxon Valdez oil spill at the request of the Alaska Deptarment of Environmental Conservation for a mechanical "rock washer" that would clean the oil contaminated beaches of Prince William Sound. The design was updated for the burgeoning industry to cleanup leaking under ground storage tanks and a prototype produced by Magnum Resources International, Inc., TRL`s predecessor, for L&C services of Anchorage, Alaska.

Terra Wash - Soil Washing Units (SWU)

The salient features common to all SWU systems are mobility and processing efficiency. Fines processing capability was demontrated in the TW75 prototype testing in 1991 and in the more recent 2009 invert R&D at Nexen Drill Rig #19 in British Columbia and in Alberta, Canada. Mobility is the emphasis in the basic design philosophy. These systems are designed to traverse any terrain, anywhere in the world.

Terra Wash - Soil Washing Units (SWU)

The TW300 is intended to be the mainstay of our Soil Washing Units (SWU). The TW300SWU will have a production capability of 30 CY/hr (22.94M3/hr) of -12IN (-304.2mm) diameter soil particles/rocks. Larger units can be built, but daisy chaining TW300s can provide greater capacity. Road mobility is the limiting factor for an all-in-one unit like the TW300. We can build larger units with separate chasses for screening plants and processing tanks.

Arctic Miner

Arctic Miner - Alluvial Recovery System

The Arctic Miner alluvial recovery system was developed in 1985 by Cyril L. Wood (1926-2003) and Lawrence D. Wood in response to ever more restrictive alluvial mining water quality constraints. The Arctic Miner™ flow sheet reduces system water requirements, and enhances fine gold recovery. The Arctic Miner™ is also trade-named Gravimetric Reciculating (Mineral) Recovery System: GRRS™ for short. (Mining)

Arctic Miner - GRRS System

The original Mk142D was delivered to a mine on the Hammond River 250 miles north of Fairbanks towed by a 1 ton Chevy 6.2L diesel dually truck. A Mk142D was reconfigured to become the Terra Wash™ TW10HM SAFR soil washing unit.

Arctic Miner - GRRS System

The original Mk242D was delivered to a mine in the eastern Talkeetnas, approximately 100 miles off the road system. The Mk242D was improved as operations dictated, the original single hydrocyclone being replaced with 2 Linatex models that significantly reduced particulate reporting to the header tank.

Arctic Miner - Alluvial Recovery Systems

Arctic Miner alluvial recovery systems are a unique, Alaska-based development brought about by the need to meet or exceed the world`s most stringent water quality standards, yet afford the maximum fine gold recovery from an alluvial deposit. This mineral processing concept was designed to provide a completely self-contained, mobile mineral processing solution. Our first system was built in 1985. In 2003, the Arctic Miner™ was adapted to be used for Small Arms Firing Range remediation/Pb removal. If we`ve learned anything it is this: If they tell you there is no clay in the berm, they are lying. If they tell you the vegetation will be removed, they are lying. (Big smiley face goes here.)
