Testo Sensor - Outdoor Probe

Outdoor probes from Testo Sensor are versatile. They reliably detect the ambient temperature for the weather-compensated control of heating systems. Outdoor sensors also measure the air temperature in cold rooms, greenhouses, warehouses and production facilities. The temperature sensors for outdoor applications are deliberately designed to react slow so that weather-compensated heating and air-conditioning systems can continuously and smoothly adapt their performance to the course of the outside temperature. Testo Sensor offers you a variety of robust sensor housings. Regardless which one you choose: All outdoor temperature sensors are dust and jet water protected, UV-resistant and easy to install and particularly qualified for outdoor use.

Testo Sensor - Room Temperature Probe

Room temperature probes are very important in order for room temperature dependent heating and air conditioning systems to react quickly and reliably to temperature fluctuations, a temperature sensor optimized for air temperature measurement is needed. Testo Sensor offers various indoor temperature sensors with different sensor characteristics and housing designs. Testo Sensor - Screw-in Probe

Screw-in probes are used in process measurement technology. Due to the screw-in thread and the correct sealing geometry (O-ring), the temperature sensors can be inserted into the process on permanent, pressure-tight and vibration-resistant basis. There they measure the temperature in gaseous or liquid media. Temperatures up to +600°C can be measured in pipelines, containers or plants. The screw-in temperature sensors  can be individually adapted to your application. We offer various threads such as G1/2, G1/4 and fine threads M4, M6, M8 and M10. We can also manufacture cables and connectors according to your specifications. Our surface temperature probes are used for surface temperature measurements on smooth surfaces in machine building industry. The sensors measure the surface temperature of workpieces or parts of the plant for the control of the entire process or the safety of the plants. The measurement and the feedback to the control system needs to be precise and fast. For this reason, surface temperature sensors need a design and material that allows them to be be thermally ideally coupled to the measuring point. Each measuring task requires a perfectly adapted geometry in order to increase the contact area and reduce the response time. Testo Sensor - Crossband Sensors

Cross-band probes are applied for the surface temperature measurement. The most accurate surface temperature measurements are both physically complex and require a sophisticated and well thought-out sensor head design. Two thin crossed thermobands in the sensor head detect a thermoelectric voltage which quickly and accurately represents the surface temperature. Due to the filigree design of the sensor head, only very slight heat is extracted from the measuring point, so that the measurement error is negligible. The very small thermal mass of the thermal ribbons in the measuring head ensures particularly short response times when measuring the surface temperature.

Testo Sensor - Pipe Contact Probe

Our pipe contact probes are designed for surface temperature measurements on pipes such as the flow and return in heating systems. Correctly adjusted flow and return temperatures are elementary for the efficiency of the entire heating circuit. If the flow temperature is too low, the room will not get warm. On the other hand, if it is too high, too much energy is wasted, causing unnecessarily high heating costs. The design of the contact sensors is decisive. This allows them to be ideally thermally coupled to the measuring point. Each measuring task requires a perfectly adapted geometry in order to increase the contact area and reduce the response time. We advise you on the optimum geometry for your application and adapt the contact temperature probes individually to your measuring task.
