The primary functions of aChemicalWater Treatment program for heating andcooling systemsthat use water as a heat transfer medium are the control of scale,corrosion and inicroorganisms.

Boiler programs use proprietary chemical inhibitor packages, specially formulated and manufactured by Metro in our own plant to meet the specific needs of your application. The chemistry can be fed to the boiler or condensate tank manually or utilizing automatic feed and control equipment. Coupled with effective blow-down, full-service water treatment for steam boilers is a cost-effective way to significantly reduce energy and repair costs. See also Boil-Outs.

Cooling Water Treatment Programs use proprietary chemical inhibitor packages, specially formulated and manufactured by Metro in our own plant to meet the specific needs of your application. SDI - Service Deionization; Service Deionization (SDl) with The Metro Group includes tank exchange and delivery. Fully trained technicians exchange spent tanks with regenerated tanks, eliminating the need for handling by facility personnel.
