Our annual SocEnv Awards and Lectures event is back and this time it’s in-person and extra special, as we celebrate our 20-year anniversary. Join us in recognising and celebrating environmental excellence on Tuesday 4th June. We want you to be there as we announce this year’s winners, host a panel discussion on the World Environment Day theme and celebrate our 20-year anniversary at this event. You will have a chance to network with a wide range of environmental professionals across sectors during our networking reception as well.

This figure represents the scale of the challenge in front of us if we are to protect our precious soils and achieve sustainable resource management. The good news is that there already exists a wealth of good practice on how best to reuse, recover and recycle soil material – we just need to ensure this reaches those who work with these valuable materials on a daily basis. That’s where Society for the Environment’s Soils and Stones project comes in. Since 2019, the project has brought together experts from across sectors including construction, forestry, engineering, land management and agriculture.
