The Tuke & Bell Vertical Aerator consists of a horizontal rotating aerator plate driven by a vertical torque tube, directly coupled to the drive gearbox.  The gearbox is mounted onto a height adjustable plate which allows for the immersion of the aerator to be set.  The whole aerator assembly can be suspended from a fixed steel or concrete bridge structure, alternatively a floating pontoon can be utilised.

The Tuke & Bell Horizontal Aerator consists of a horizontal rotating shaft onto which either aeration tines or beater bars are fitted.  The shaft is mounted between bearings and can either be supported by the concrete tank or suspended from a steel bridge.  A flexible coupling transmits torque from the drive gearbox to the aerator rotor.  Immersion of the rotor is typically controlled by altering the water level in the tank.
