Quadrafoam air filters offer low pressure drop, fire resistance, and the ability to capture large amounts of airborne dust in industrial enclosure applications. Quadrafoam is ideal for use in equipment where permanent, cleanable filters are most appropriate.

HVAC systems and commercial/industrial enclosures are exposed to a variety of airborne particles including dust, mold, and pollen.  Removing these particles with a high efficiency filter can extend equipment operating life and enhance air quality.  Custom high efficiency MERV 11, MERV 13, and MERV 15 pleated filter products from UAF offer high dust loading for maximum service life while reducing airflow resistance.  The 100% synthetic media is highly effective at removing 0.3 – 1.0 micron particles from the air stream and is adhesively bonded to all four sides of the filter frame to eliminate air bypass.  A rigid aluminum frame and robust media are extremely durable and are designed to withstand damage from shipping, handling, and installation.

The new Dual EMI Honeycomb air filter provides superior shielding against electromagnetic interference and is specially designed for electronics, telecom and datacom, and military electronicsequipment.

Customized frame profiles allow optimal filter integration. Windowpane air filters are the ideal solution to meet the low profile and edge-to-edge filter needs of communications electronics applications. Windowpanes help telecom/datacom electronics designers meet the stringent requirements of the Telcordia NEBS standards. The special design creates a sturdy air filter even when the combined thickness of filter media and frame is as thin as 0.13″ for applications where space is limited.

Products are configured with aluminum honeycomb and provide low resistance to airflow and thin profiles. Edge-to-edge venting requirements and intricate designs are met with precision metal fabricated aluminum frames and housings.

Polyester air filters offer high dust arrestance and low resistance when installed in electronics, computer, telecom, datacom, medical and general purpose equipment – where disposable filters are most appropriate. Some models are specially designed for equipment with limited space. Polyester filters are flame retardant and meet UL 94 HF-1 standards for electronics, NEBS compliant and motor vehicle applications. Available in framed filter assemblies or cut-to-size filter pads.

High dust arrestance, low pressure drop washable media. Uni-Foam fan air filters are designed to provide high dust arrestance where a permanent, cleanable filter is required in medical equipment, electronics, computer, telecom, datacom and general purpose equipment. Uni-foam media can be used in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications. The foam media can withstand exposure to moisture, if installed in outdoor environments. The cellular media structure acts as a mist eliminator to reduce water ingress caused by rainfall or water splash. Certain Uni-Foam air filter models are specifically designed for use in “limited-space” equipment.

The UAF Outside Plant filter utilizes newly developed high efficiency media technology that offers protection from dust, wind-driven rain and salt fog ingress at higher air flow and lower initial resistance than similarly rated filters. The OSP filter provides the cost-effective answer for enclosure engineers looking to take advantage of direct air-cooling systems for electronics equipment protection. Cabinets installed in harsh environments for telecommunications, power generation, video or LED displays, kiosks, military/defense, and any other industrial or commercial outdoor enclosure can now use outside air vented, energy efficient direct air-cooling systems in place of costly, inefficient closed air-to-air heat exchangers while maintaining a robust IP65 level of protection.
