Electronic Pressure Regulator
The crankcase of internal combustion engines is a source of blow-by gases arising from leakage at the piston rings, turbocharger seals, and valve stems. In engines equipped with a closed crankcase ventilation system (CCV), the crankcase gases are typically vented before the turbocharger inlet. If not regulated, the suction effect of the turbocharger would cause high vacuum in the crankcase.

The ventilation of the lubrication oil tank of turbines or large bearings require the generation of a constant underpressure. Oil mist separators of the UPF-OTV series perfectly meet all technical requirements within the applicable emission and labour protection laws. The escape of oil during ventilation is reliably prevented.

Especially for engines with a power of up to 100 megawatts our oil mist separators ensure top separation performance and functional safety – thus, they can be used even for critical applications, such as a potentially explosive atmosphere. With a residual oil quantity of less than 5 mg/m³, the statutory limit values of the TA Luft are significantly undercut. When required, we provide all models in an ATEX certified design.
UT99 - Oil Mist Separators for Crankcase Ventilation
Due to the design of internal combustion engines, a gaseous mixture enters the crankcase, which must be removed to prevent a permanent increase in pressure. This blow-by gas contains not only unburned fuel and pollutants but also finest oil droplets. These are almost completely separated by UT99 oil mist separators and returned to the oil circuit. UT99 oil mist separators ensure improved occupational safety and make a massive contribution to environmental protection.
