Vahn-Tech - Anti-Shock Air Release Valve

CanLeaf Advanced design with simple mechanism along with strong float to prevent cracking during sudden water hammer & quick closure. CanLeaf Aerokinetic mechanism to resist blow shut under high air velocity even up to sonic velocity of air. CanLeaf For the potential water hammer area or transmission pipeline, it is recommended to use anti-shock combination air valve to prevent from damage or impact of severe water hammer. CanLeaf Anti-shock device is installed on top of bonnet, it will slow down the exhausting air flow during filling to prevent hammer impact, under vacuum condition, the device will drop down and let large air into the pipeline.

CanLeaf All iron parts are coated inside & outside with fusion bonded epoxy for corrosion resistance per AWWA C550. CanLeaf Design with solid wedge and bronze trim to reduce wear and tear. CanLeaf Double eccentric design butterfly is used for lowering the friction between the disc and the seat. CanLeaf Dovetail seat design with multiple raised ring is used to increase contact with the disc while loweringfriction during closure. Seat is fixed using epoxy resin based adhesive.

The plug is made of Ductile Iron and fully encapsulated with EPDM or NBR rubber, providing leakage tight sealing and making it suitable for vacuum working conditions. Thanks to the encapsulation, the plug is alsofully protected against corrosion. The abrasive particles are prevented to enter the bearing area bycompression between the rubber and the PTFE thrust gasket. CanLeafAn overlay with minimum 90% pure nickel is welded over the seat area for long term corrosion resistanceand improved tightness over the plug valve life. CanLeafThe stem seal design is self-adjusting. It is isolated from the plug stem and external torque device and isunaffected by pressure variations.
