Whether your goals are to achieve legal compliance, maximise your costs savings or improve your environmental credentials, our unique level of expertise in the ever growing field of sustainability means that we can work in partnership with you to find the best possible solution to meeting those objectives.

We are committed to environmental sustainability and take continuous steps to improve our performance and impact on the environment, and give our customers confidence that we are a responsible business.

We are certified to ISO 14001 and have a robust environment policy which you can download here.

An important element of our activities is not only ensuring that we minimise our impact on the environment but that we also minimise the environmental impact of our subcontractors. To address this we have achieved PAS 2060, a carbon neutral standard. This means we have a carbon reduction plan in place which includes reducing the carbon impact of our sub-contractors.

We have also focused on waste reduction, reuse and recycling activities at our offices in a variety of ways including:

  • Sending organic waste to our on-site wormery
  • Reusing office furniture and recycle furniture that is deemed un-fit for reuse
  • Providing receptacles to collect used batteries and waste electricals / electronics
  • Removing all litter bins from desks to encourage waste minimisation

Having ISO 14001 and PAS 2060, along with other initiatives, means that we have a robust framework in place to monitor our environmental performance and impact, and allows us to demonstrate that we are committed to a process of continuous improvement.

We are committed to providing you with the highest standards of customer care.

Our commitment to customer care is reflected in the results of our annual customer survey in which it was reported that:

  • '9/10 customers would recommend Valpak'
  • 'Valpak is considered to provide better quality, reliability and development in comparison to competitors'
  • 'Customers remain very happy with Valpak's service with satisfaction at 92% overall'

We are certified under ISO 9001 Quality Management System which demonstrates our commitment to achieving high standards. We aim to do this by:

  • Doing it right first time, every time
  • Providing cost effective services to all our customers
  • Recognising and responding to the needs of all our customers
  • Being part of a process of continual improvement achieved through teamwork

We also recognise that one of the best ways of enhancing the service we provide is to listen to our customers and we therefore welcome and encourage your feedback. We review all feedback on a regular basis to identify where we can change our processes or policies to ensure you continue to have a positive experience with us.

We seek to gain accreditation to, and certification from, organisations that challenge our business to operate responsibly and ethically while simultaneously having a minimal impact on the environment. Some of the accreditations and standards that we hold, and methods that we follow are listed below:

ISO 14001

An internationally accepted standard that sets out how companies can put in place an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). The standard enables Valpak Limited to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities and services, to continually improve its environmental performance, and to implement a systematic approach to setting environmental objectives and targets, to achieving these and to demonstrating that they have been achieved.

ISO 9001

An internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. The standard applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.

OHSAS 18001

Provides a framework for the effective management of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), including compliance with legislation that applies to an organisation's activities and identified hazards. It gives requirements for an OH&S management system, to enable an organisation to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance.

PAS 2060

Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 2060 gives general requirements to be met by anyone wanting to achieve and demonstrate carbon neutrality.
