Veolia Actidyn - Wastewater Treatment System

Sludge is the name given to the wet solids separated out in the primary stage of wastewater treatment. It requires further processing to reduce the volume, and sludge thickening separates the solid and liquid components. Allowing the particles to settle at the base of a vessel is an effective way of carrying out sludge thickening, and Actidyn™ is a compact lamella sludge thickener that can be used at municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities, in drinking water applications and other chemical sludge that requires thickening before being dewatered. The elimination efficiency of lipids reaches 70-90% depending on the grease quality and concentration. Agira™ has a compact design and is perfectly adapted to degrade high loaded greasy effluents.

Veolia Actiflo - Wastewater Treatment System

Actiflo® is ideal for drinking water and is particularly efficient in treating algal bloom, removing phosphorus and reducing the taste and odor associated with algae. There are more than 1,100 Actiflo references all over the world featuring more than 1,800 units, including more than 900 package plants, in municipal and industrial water and wastewater applications. The technology is also suitable for utility feed water, water reuse applications and to manage stormwater.

Veolia Actina - Drinking Water Softening Process System

Actina™ - Pellet softening providing the users’ comfort. Actina™ is a drinking water softening process by pellet softening designed to limit calcium carbonate deposits. Actina™ is a drinking water softening process by pellet softening designed to limit calcium carbonate deposits caused by a daily use of hard water on dishes, shower systems or in the pipes. These deposits can cause clogging and affect the proper operation of household appliances and water heaters. By reducing the calcium hardness at the earliest stage possible, Actina™enables Municipalities and Industries to access softened water peacefully, and to dispense with additional softening in private property or in their factories.

Veolia Agira - Hydrolysis Tank and Aerobic Bioreactor System

Agira™ is a two-stage intense aerobic process for the treatment of grease and greasy sludge. Agira™ consists of a hydrolysis tank and an aerobic bioreactor: The hydrolysis tank pre-treats the greasy matters in presence of lime before entering the bioreactor. The aerobic tank includes a patented foam cleaner and a dynamic mixer. This configuration enhances the biomass temperature (40-50°C) allowing high elimination efficiency in a reduced reactor footprint and low energy consumption.

Veolia Alizair - Wastewater Treatment System

The Alizair™ process avoid the propagation of odors and provide the operating agents with a healthy and safe environment. In the sanitation network, the absence of air (and more precisely of oxygen) makes that wastewater become septic, and also malodorous. Gases are accumulated in the sewer headspace and emission to the open air can occur at the outlet in the treatment plant. Wastewater and its by-product treatment (sludge, scum, etc.) also generate unpleasant smells. The chemical species responsible of the olfactory nuisances are mainly Sulphide, Nitrogenous compounds and, sometimes, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

Veolia Amdro - Treatment of Acidic Wastewater Technology

Amdro™ is a patented technology for desalination of acidic wastewater with high concentrations of metals and calcium salts. Amdro™ is a patented technology for desalination of acidic wastewater with high concentrations of metals and calcium salts. The technology combines our Actiflo® high-rate clarification process with filtration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange to generate high-quality effluent with minimum pretreatment requirements. The processes ahead of the RO reduce the particulates and retain scale-forming contaminants to prevent the scaling of membranes upon concentration. The RO is operated in double-pass mode to treat the wastewater first under acidic conditions, which effectively controls scaling, and then at a neutral pH condition, to further remove dissolved inorganic compounds.

Veolia Anita Mox - Wastewater Treatment System

Anita™ Mox, Veolia Water Technologies anammox process, is a cost-effective and sustainable solution for the treatment of streams highly loaded in ammonia, such as municipal effluents from anaerobic sludge digestion, drying condensates, industrial wastewaters and landfill leachates. Compared to conventional nitrification-denitrification processes, the Anita Mox process achieves an ammonia removal efficiency of over 90% with no use of external carbon source and at a very low energy cost, thus making it the ideal solution to reduce operating cost and improve the environmental record of a wastewater treatment plant.

Veolia AnoxKaldnes - Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR)

The Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) solution is a biological wastewater treatment and biological water treatment processes where biofilm grows on carriers suspended in wastewater that removes pollutants in a cost-efficient way. It can be used across almost all municipal and industrial market sectors.
