Thanks to its flushing characteristics, it can also effectively handle moderate loadings of solids. There’s no need for interconnecting ductwork with the Verantis crossflow scrubber. The equipment is configured so the fan can be close coupled directly to a gas outlet. These scrubbers provide convenient maintenance access and they can be arranged in series if your application requires more than one scrubbing solution. In addition to standard models, our crossflow scrubbers can be completely customized for unique needs and special applications.

These self-contained systems boast a small footprint and do not require interconnecting ductwork, making them ideal for operations with limited floor space. A highly effective contacting device for applications requiring a low gas-to-liquid ratio, Verantis sieve tray towers are best suited for absorption of highly soluble but volatile compounds. They achieve maximum contaminate removal with minimal water use and are less prone to plugging than packed towers. Verantis sieve tray towers remove particulate down to 5 microns in size.

Designed for high-efficiency collection and low-pressure drop, our countercurrent scrubbers use patented Tellerette Tower Packing to remove soluble/reactive gases and liquid droplets down to seven microns. These scrubbers are the most common choice for removing noxious gases from airstreams. Verantis offers standard models for fast implementation, or the Verantis team of consultants and engineers can work with you to custom configure a countercurrent scrubber solution perfectly suited to your unique or special applications.

Patented Tellerettes technology puts the power in your tower. Verantis is the only environmental solutions group to provide you access to the power of Tellerettes. This unique tower packing boasts a patented toroidal helix design that makes Tellerettes dramatically more efficient than conventional packing material for mass transfer, heat transfer, and particulate collection. We design our scrubber systems with a large quantity of Tellerettes to increase residence time in the scrubber and improve removal efficiency. A shallow bed of Tellerettes can also be used to provide effective mist elimination.

Verantis® offers high performance chevron mist eliminators to remove liquid entrainment from gas streams with removal efficiencies up to nearly 100%. All wet scrubber designs incorporate mist eliminators or entrainment separators to remove entrained droplets, which contain the contaminants or particulate matter.
