Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) technologies use a vacuum toremove various combinations of impacted groundwater, free phase and vapours from the subsurface. Once above surface, the extracted liquids and vapours are separated and treated. The treated vapours are discharged to the environment and the treated liquids are discharged to either the ground surface, a sewer, or they are collected for off-site disposal. Vertex has installed and designed numerous MPE systems in various geologic media.

Pump & Treat systems use pumps toextract liquids from extraction wells or open excavations. The extracted liquids are separated and groundwater is treated and discharged whereas free phase liquids are collected for off-site disposal. Vertex has installed and designed numerous Pump & Treat systems forsite remediation, plume containment and excavation dewatering.

Soil-Vapour Extraction (SVE) systems usea vacuum to remove vapours from the subsurface. Once above surface, the extracted vapours are treated via treatment media or a catalytic oxidizer and then discharged to the environment. Vertex has installed and designed numerous SVE systems in various geologic media.
