Bowls
Cascade Bowls Feeders
Cascade bowls are primarily used for feeding easily oriented parts like screws and dowels. They are often quieter and less costly than outside-track designs. Since there are no "over and under" tracks for parts to wedge between, improperly oriented parts are rejected back into the bowl falling only to the lower track. These bowls can be coated with a variety of materials or welded and polished to meet FDA specifications. They also lend themselves to lining with sheet urethane for wear and noise abatement and with 3M Brushlon for feeding oily parts. All bowls are fabricated from 11-gauge 304 stainless steel and are heli-arc welded. Tooled bowls are polished on the inside and painted on the outside.
Outside-Track Bowls Feeders
Outside-track bowls are used when more intricate tooling is required for proper part orientation, for higher feed rates, or for multiple lines of feed. The outside track is usually pitched downward allowing parts to separate and be more easily oriented. By tooling on the outside instead of the inside, parts tend to buckle and fall into the return pan instead of binding.
Drive Units
High-Inertia Drive Units
These drive units are designed for 5 to 18-inch-diameter cascade bowls and 6 to 12-inch core-diameter outside-track bowls. This unique design provides good stability and smooth feed because the base weight is concentrated in the corners. The drive units have a single vertical coil and are A.C. operated providing 120 vibrations per second. The 20 degree spring angle has proven best for most applications using small and medium size bowls. All bowls used with these drive units are mounted with one center screw.
Drive Units for Core Diameter Outside-Track Bowls
These drive units have two or more horizontal coils and in most cases are A.C. operated providing 120 vibrations per second. The 15 degree spring angle has proven best for these larger outside track bowls.
Drive Units for Diameter Cascade Bowls
These drive units have two horizontal coils with full wave rectified controls providing 60 vibrations per second. The 25 degree spring angle has proven best for most applications for these larger cascade bowls. The 24 inch bowl is mounted with rim clamps. All others are attached to the top surface of the cross arm.
Hopper
Supply Hoppers
Supply Hoppers for Feeding Parts/Materials to Vibratory and Centrifugal Parts Handling Systems. Supply hoppers are amongst the popular automation machine we at Vibratory Feeders, Inc. (VFI) offer. They are known for their precise designs, sturdy constructions, and trouble free performance. They are exclusively designed to load parts into a vibratory bowl feeding system automatically. They support several product manufacturing industries to automate their production lines. These bulk supply hoppers keep vibratory and centrifugal parts handling systems running at high efficiency.
Standard Supply Hoppers
Vibratory Feeders Inc. is a leading provider of standard supply hoppers and bulk storage hoppers. Our supply hoppers are designed to support part handling systems by providing automatic loading of parts into vibratory bowl feeding systems.
Straight Front Supply Hoppers
Vibratory Feeders Inc. offers straight front supply hoppers designed to provide an alternative to standard supply hoppers. As the name suggests, the straight front models are recognized by the straight front, as well as larger bin opening, and wide tray. This is a perfect solution for industries, which require large sized or long components to be oriented and fed.
