Model FHO -Straight Front Supply Hoppers
Vibratory Feeders Inc. offers straight front supply hoppers designed to provide an alternative to standard supply hoppers. As the name suggests, the straight front models are recognized by the straight front, as well as larger bin opening, and wide tray. This is a perfect solution for industries, which require large sized or long components to be oriented and fed.
Important Points that You Should Know
There are certain points that need to be kept in mind when choosing this supply hopper type for your manufacturing process:
- The total weight of parts being fed should not exceed 30 pounds
- Do not use this model with parts that have a tendency to get tangled up with each other

The below mentioned features of straight front supply hoppers allow for easier component flow, and controlled part feeding. The hoppers are fabricated using 11 gauge, 304 stainless steel. The steel is heliarc welded, which provides advantages of quality and durability. All welds are ground and polished so there are no pits or seams. These supply hoppers can be mounted on height-adjustable floor pedestals. Vibratory Feeders Inc. provides seven different types of straight front supply hoppers with the following specifications.
- Capacity Range: 1/2 cu. ft. to 6 cu. ft.
- Weight Range: 110 lbs. to 215 lbs
- Length: 18 to 30 3/4
- Power Supply: 115 or 230 volt or 50 or 60-hertz
- Maximum Amperage: 7 amps at 115 VAC
The weight range given here is that of the supply hopper only. When you decide to add floor pedestals to the equipment, an additional 120 pounds needs to be added to the total weight.
