THE PRO 4 Rugged BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system has been specifically configured to quickly and effectively perform a variety of basic underwater tasks in environments where gear takes a beating.

The Mission Specialist Defender configuration is designed for more precise control of the vehicle position and orientation, heavier payloads, and demanding intervention, such as rendering unexploded ordnance safe or cleaning nets for offshore fish farms. With seven thrusters, the Defender is able to move in any direction, and maintain active pitch to face the vehicle in an upward or downward orientation. The addition of third party control and navigation software from Greensea Systems or Seebyte makes the Defender a popular configuration for dangerous or heavy-duty missions.

The VideoRay Mission Specialist Pro 5 configuration is designed for speed and efficiency, weighing in at 10kg (22lb). The three-thruster system has forward speed of over 4.4 knots, and utilizes a system of interchangeable, modular components residing on a single, intelligent network. The Pro 5 is designed to handle missions with size, space, weight, and deployment speed constraints, such as infrastructure inspections beyond the reach of divers, search & recovery, exploring the ocean floor up to 305m, and various others. The Pro 5 builds on the strengths of the Pro 4, with more thrust, longer tether lengths, higher resolution video, and the advantages of the modular systems.

The Pro 4 Ultra ROV system is a simpler, lighter version of our standard Pro 4 ROV system. The extremely portable Pro 4 Ultra control panel is about 40% lighter than the standard Pro 4 Control Panel weighing in at 8.4 kg (18.5 lbs). The Ultra system is the perfect solution for users who only need the most basic functionality of an ROV. The Ultra is perfectly suited for routine tasks – such as basic visual inspections or observations in normal environments down to 305 m (1,000 ft). A sleek Dell laptop with a lite version of VideoRay Cockpit Software controls the ROV and displays the video feed. The included sunshade enhances screen visibility in bright environments. The Ultra system also comes with a Logitech wired USB hand controller, Pro 4 user manual, custom packaging, and a Pro 4 Basic Tool Kit.

THE PRO 4 Plus BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) system has been specifically configured to quickly and effectively perform advanced underwater imaging tasks. The Plus BASE ROV system is a portable and cost effective advanced solution that can be deployed in minutes and operated by one person if necessary. The Pro 4 Plus BASE system includes a Pro 4 submersible, Pro 4 Integrated Control Box (ICB) with a high performance Dell computer loaded with VideoRay Cockpit control software, secondary 15” Hi-Bright daylight viewable display, and an industrial hand controller. This system has enhanced processing power and is BlueView sonar ready (sonar not included).

The VideoRay Pro 4 IP65 BASE is the perfect solution for ROV operators who need fail safe protection from the elements, without sacrificing the power or capability you expect from a Pro 4 ROV system. All the technology included in the Pro 4 IP65 BASE, including connectors, provides complete ingress protection against dust and “splashes,” or low pressure water jets, from any direction.

The Standard BASE ROV system is a portable and cost-effective solution that can be deployed in minutes and operated by one person if necessary.

THE PRO 4 Rack BASE Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) System has been specifically configured for operations requiring Pro 4 ROV performance from a vessel or command center with rack mounted hardware. The Rack BASE ROV Control Panel features a completely redesigned 2U package that fits seamlessly into any existing rack.

The VideoRay Crawler attachment is so simple and effective it’s ridiculous. It has been specifically designed for the Pro 4 Float Block and is an essential attachment for obtaining stable video on submerged surfaces in difficult, high current underwater environments (up to 6 knots).

Designed and developed by Inuktun, the VideoRay externally mountable camera is a plug and play secondary standard definition color video camera that is compact, lightweight and rugged.  The accessory features variable intensity LED lighting controlled from the ROV hand controller, a high resolution, low lux camera, and a custom VideoRay plug mount insert that fits snugly into either of the float block holes.  The external camera has the standard 9 pin VideoRay accessory cable and can be used in conjunction with other VideoRay options such as the manipulator and sonars.
