The VideoRay Tether Deployment System (TDS) is designed to store, manually payout, and retrieve tether while keeping it protected and clean. The TDS features a retractable handle and wheels for easy transportation and consists of a rugged Pelican 620 hard case with a custom slip ring, manual winch handle, and 4.5 m (15 ft) lead of tether to the Control Panel. While the TDS is not required, it is highly recommended to help complete missions efficiently and minimize risk of damage to the tether.
