Malatech Water, Ltd. (Waterix' Hungarian dealer) delivered in November 2010 seven AIRIT 70 aerators to the city of Békés in Hungary. Békés has 22000 inhabitants and it is located some 190 km from Budapest. The main goal was to enhance nitrification at the plant.

New systems are for aerating, mixing and cooling of equalization basins at both of the factories, called Jokilaakson tehtaat (factories of the river valley). They were delivered by a young, innovative finnish company called Waterix. Old fashioned cooling towers are stopped now at both of the factories.
At Jämsänkoski mill, five AIRIT 700®-floating high speed surface aerators together with two COOLIT 16000®-floating spray coolers were mounted in the equalization basin
The municipal waste water treatment plant situated in Wrexham, a town of 43000 people, first tried one unit of AIRIT® 350"s during one month. After this succesful trial period, the plant decided to order two more.
