Reverse Osmosis Systems
WEIL - Low Pressure Reverse Osmosis System
As a rule, our standard reverse osmosis systems of the LE type (LE = low energy, low pressure systems) are used for the desalination of softened drinking water.
WEIL - Reverse Osmosis System with High Retention
The reverse osmosis systems of the HR type (HR = high rejection = high retention) correspond to the previously described reverse osmosis systems of the LE type, with the difference that other membranes are used. By using special membranes with high retention, the desalination rate can be increased from about 97.0% to about 98.5%.
WEIL - Permeate-Stepped Reverse Osmosis System
The permeate-stepped reverse osmosis systems are two-stage systems that are used for the extensive desalination of softened drinking water. Since high-retention membranes are used and the plant is designed in two stages, high desalination rates of >99% can be achieved.
Ultra Filtration Systems
WEIL - Ultra Filtration Systems
Ultrafiltration is a membrane filtration that can be used to remove particles, high molecular solutes, bacteria and viruses from the water. While the water is forced through the membrane, the particles are retained by the membrane by means of a screening effect.
Softening Systems
WEIL - Softening System with Central Control Valve
The softening systems with a central control valve generally consist of one or two softening containers, which are filled with ion exchange material. They have a central valve with which they can be operated fully automatically.
WEIL - Softening Systems with Single Valve Control
We manufacture softening systems with individual valve control on an individual basis and according to your specifications. The advantages of single valve control are:
Filter Systems
WEIL - Particle Removal Filter System
Depending on the application (water quality, volume flow), various techniques are used for particle removal. Here, standardised systems are described in the first place.
WEIL - Iron/Manganese Removal Filter System
For larger systems for removing iron and demanganing, the filters are individually planned and optimally adapted to the water quality and requirements of the customers. Here, filter containers made of steel or GRP with a nozzle bottom are often used, which are equipped with front piping and electric or pneumatic flaps.
WEIL - Deacidification Filter
The deacidification filter is used to bind free carbonic acid from well water and the permeate of a reverse osmosis system. The carbonate filter granulate deacidifies the water and raises the pH value to the range of the Drinking Water Ordinance (pH 6.5–9.0). The concentration of calcium and hydrogen carbonate ions increases slightly, so that the water no longer has a corrosive effect.
Adsorber Systems
WEIL - Active Carbon Filters
Active carbon filters for larger volume flows are individually designed and manufactured to be optimally adapted to the needs of the customers.
