WeSort.AI - BatterySort System

BatterySort is an advanced sorting system developed by WeSort.AI to protect recycling plants by preventing lithium-ion batteries from causing damage or fires within the facilities. Utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence and X-ray scanning technology, BatterySort detects and removes lithium-ion batteries from the recycling stream before they enter the pre-shredder and other potentially high-risk areas. This system can handle input streams with a significant layer thickness and differentiate between various objects, including lithium-ion batteries, steel parts, stones, and spray cans. The identified batteries are then precisely ejected using powerful air pressure nozzles and transported to secure, fireproof containers for safe handling and further recycling.
