Membrane Filtration (Including Reverse Osmosis RO)

As a leading developer and manufacturer of ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membrane filtration systems, Severn Trent Services has the experience to provide engineered solutions for tap, brackish or seawater applications.  Combine these products with WestWater’s engineering expertise and knowledge of the Australian environment results in our client’s being offered a water treatment package specifically designed for their application.

Emergency Shutdown Devices (ESD)

The principle benefit of an Emergency Shutdown Device (ESD) is to protect personnel and public from exposure to a chlorine gas leak, as well as saving associated plant and equipment from corrosion. WestWater designs and manufactures its own Emergency Shutdown Device, known as the ChlorShield. The ChlorShield is an automatic emergency isolation device for chlorine gas cylinders and drums for use in areas such as water & wastewater treatment, swimming pools and industrial plants. It is intended to shut the primary isolation valves on these containers in the event of detecting a significant gaseous chlorine leak.

Gas Leak Detectors

Severn Trent Services manufacture the Capital Control Series 17CA3000 ChlorAlert Plus. This is a state-of the art device for rapidly measuring and alarming the ambient presence of low concentrations for toxic gases. The microprocessor based receiver can accept inputs from up to four independent sensors each designed to accurately determine part per million levels of chlorine or sulphur dioxide. The receiver enclosure is NEMA 4X rated and can be wall mounted wherever the monitored gases are manufactured, stored or utilised. Each gas sensor may be located up to 1000 feet (305 meters) from the receiver. Multiple relays allow for remote alarming and activation of ancillary safety equipment.
