Although Vibrastop transformer supports cannot prevent vibration of the transformer, they reduce transmission to the surroundings to a very high extent. The decoupling effect is based on ensuring as great a distance as possible between the natural frequency of the soft-mounted transformer and the excitation frequency resulting from operation of the transformer.
