WISER Group History
The Consultancy was formed in 1999 by Russell Hirst who had previously worked in environmental regulation, and in the waste and recycling industry. The range of services and clients expanded quickly to include Local Authorities, groundworks contractors, facilities management companies, recycling companies, developers, and NHS Trusts.

Our continued growth meant several office relocations in the St Ives area, including rooms above the Oliver Cromwell public house, before settling in our current Head Office overlooking the River Great Ouse in the centre of St Ives.

WISER Recycling was set up in 2002 looking forward to the implementation of the WEEE Regulations. The aim of the recycling company was to provide innovation in collections and treatment of electrical equipment. The company has a wide range of clients, and has grown to invest in state of the art treatment technologies whilst minimising our carbon footprint.

The companies were incorporated in 2003 and continue to develop both in size and range of clients served.
