Wright Environmental

Born from a passion for the environment and a belief in smart solutions, Wright Environmental has been at the forefront of in-vessel composting for over 20 years. We`re more than engineers, we`re stewards of sustainability, proud to build systems that restore soil, reduce waste, and create cleaner communities. Our story began on a small farm in B.C. Canada, where designer Jim Wright and his friend, a mushroom grower came together with a shared passion for soil health and sustainability. They together built the first composter in Jim`s metal shop. The prototype led to a successful long-term installation at the Ontario Science Centre, proving the concepts value. Over the years Wright has worked with NASA, Reedy Creek Improvement District, The US Military, NY State Corrections, Province of ON, Correction Services Canada, just to name a few.
