YEKOM consulting engineers , founded by Dr. Farhad Daftari, Dr. fereidoun Mobasheri and Dr. Ali Majidi was established in 1973 as private company to provide Consulting services in the field of economics, planning and management studies under the name of `YEKOM Economic Consultants`.The word `YEKOM` meaning `first`, was chosen because it was the first Iranian organization established to provide consultancy in the fields of economics and planning. It was also one of the few existing and registered consulting organization at that time.
