Young Calibration Ltd news
Anemometer Calibration, Latest news for customers requiring ISO 17025 UKAS accredited calibration with our recently improved measurement calibration uncertainty for all types of air velocity, wind speed or anemometer instruments.
Cup Anemometer, being one of the oldest types of anemometer, commonly referred to as a rotating cup anemometer, as the wind blows, the cup rotates and outputs a frequency. The faster the cup rotates the higher the frequency and a calibration o
Several more quality standards have been included within the air velocity calibration services, now covering the requirements as set out in ISO 14644, GxP/GMP, DIN EN 12599, VDI 2083, VDI 2080, NEBB (1996) and IES-RP-CC006.2 our UKAS accredited air velocity calibration services will adhere to the specified requirements as laid out in the listed standards to ensure your compliance of your cleanroom air velocity performance when you have your anemometer calibrated in our accredited laboratory.
A new large 1m x 1m wind tunnel has commenced build at the companies Shoreham Airport facility. Adding to the exisiting UKAS accredited wind tunnel, the new facility will comprise of a 100 kW fan and selectable open or closed jet test section, capable of calibrating larger rotating cup type anemometers, flow visualisation of motorsport components and general research and development for wind and energy studies.
Young Calibration has secured funding for a new state of the art test and calibration laboratory, further enhancing its world leading capabilities for flow calibration, heat exchanger testing and HX service and cleanliness analysis. The 500,000 GBP investment will provide a further 6000 sqft of laboratory floorspace with several new developments taking centre stage within the lab. The new laboratory services will be phased in across the next 6 to 8 months, including a new high speed wind tunn
