ATI - EE80 Series - Brochure

96EE80 series set new standards in CO2 measurements for HVAC.The transmitters resp. switches combine CO2, relative humidity(RH) and temperature (T) measurement in one modern and user-friendly housing. The basic EE80 version for CO2 and T can be easily extended witha RH plug-in module. The CO2 measerument is based on the infrared principle. Apatented auto-calibration procedure compensates for the aging ofthe infrared source and ensures outstanding long term stability. EE80 provides analogue outputs (in V or mA). The optional displayindicates sequentially the actual measuring data. As one more option a switching output with adjustable switchingpoint and hysteresis is available. The CO2 sensing elementuses the Non-Dispersive Infrared Technology (NDIR). A patentedauto-calibration procedure compensates for drift caused by theaging of the sensing element and guarantees outstanding longterm stability.Installed into a duct a small flow of air will be established by con-vection through the probe into the transmitter housing and backinto the duct. Inside the transmitter housing the air will diffusethrough a membrane into the CO2 sensing element. The operation in closed loop air stream avoids pollution of theCO2 sensor.Measuring ranges of 0...2000ppm and 0...5000ppm correspond toan analogue interface of 0 - 5/10V or 4 - 20mA. Selectively a switching output with adjustable switching point and hysteresis is available. The patented auto-calibration procedurecompensates for aging of the infrared source and guaranteeshigh reliability, long term stability and eliminates the need ofperiodical recalibration in the field.Measuring ranges of 0...2000/5000/7000ppm correspond to an analogue interface of 0 - 5/10V or 4 - 20mA.Selectively a switching output with adjustable switching point and hysteresis is available.
