For maximum efficiency, a flocculent is then introduced in a static mixer. Thetreated water then passes through a reaction chamber in the primary vat, where floccula-tion occurs through appropriate residence time. The floc rises to the surface, where thefloating particles are removed by a paddle wheel. The clarified water then flows over aweir toward the Dur-flote™ outlet.
