Specially designedequipment is also available for unique applications.Sludge DryersEuroby Drying Technology Limited specialises in the supply of machineryand equipment used to dry a variety of different materials.CentridryThe CENTRIDRY® enhanced dewatering/drying system offers aunique single stage process combining centrifugal mechanical dewateringand thermal drying in a compact machine based on a decanter centrifugewith a small footprint. This unique drying system will process sludge withan incoming d.s. of 2% -7% and produce, within seconds, fine grained, lowdust sludge granulate with 60% – 90% d.s. depending on currentoperational requirements. The process is suitable for a variety of sludgetypes ranging from sewage to pharmaceutical.Belt Dryers Euroby supplies Stela belt dryers which were developed to dryvarious sludges in a simple, energy efficient and dust free way to d.scontents of 65% to 95%.The system is unique in that mechanically dewatered sludge isextruded on to the perforated belt using patented technology,following which, it is conveyed slowly through the drying zone anddischarged at the end of the conveyor.This retention time can beadjusted very accurately such that homogeneous drying is achieved.The Stela dryer uses low temperature for successful drying of manydifferent materials including “difficult products” and produces eithera worm like or high quality granular product.Drum Dryer SystemsEuroby supplys Drum Dryer systems to satisfy municipalapplications where large evaporation rates (>4t/h w/e) in singlestream are required to be dried with low energy consumption, lowexhaust volumes and granulate formation without furtherprocessing.Complete plants including wet and dried sludge storage systems andexhaust gas treatment can be supplied designed to meet stringentsafety standards.Safety Consultancy – Drying TechnologiesIn addition to supplying drying products, Euroby’s ProcessEngineering services also include Safety Consultancy and processoptimisation for existing dryer installations of all dryer types.Filter Press – Plate Sales and SparesEuroby is the UK and Ireland Agent for the sale of Klinkau filter pressplates.These high quality plates,manufactured from modern materials are suppliedas standard,bespoked or specially designed for the application intended.Euroby can often supply used/refurbished filter presses ex stocktogether with a comprehensive range of spares and cloths atcompetitive rates.Filter Press maintenance and refurbishmentEuroby is the exclusive distributor for Klinkau polypropylene filterplates and specialises in providing upgrades to existing filter pressinstallations. In particular, by utilising existing filter press frames weare able to provide significant improvements to both throughput andcake dry solids. On most applications we can also provide varyinglevels of automation.Upgrading from cast iron plates to polypropylene provides benefitsfrom significantly improved filtration and due to the lower weight ofplates, a reduction in the stresses being applied to press closingequipment. Euroby regularly carries out upgrades to filter pressinstallations which lead to extended working life of the equipmentby up to 25 years.In addition to recessed plates, Euroby are also able to retrofitmembrane inflation technology into existing press frames therebyallowing significantly reduced cycle times, greater throughput andachievable dry solid production. On many upgrades we are able toachieve up to 35% improvement on overall press efficiency.Many existing filter press installations do not comply with currenthealth and safety legislation. Units are available for sale or hire.Eurosonics – Ultrasound Equipment for Disintegrationof Biological SludgeEuroby supply the Eurosonic ultrasound disintegration equipment forapplication in the treatment of biological sludges.These units areattractively priced to provide good payback on projects where theefficient anaerobic digestion (AD) of biological sludges such as wasteactivated sludge is required for biogas production and where increasesin dewaterability of digested sludge is required. It would be typicallyused in AD projects with 10 dry tonnes of sludge per day or more.The system can also be tuned to prevent biological foaming indigesters and aeration lanes.The Eurosonic ultrasound disintegration system generates high powerdensity and amplitude and more importantly can cope with largechanges in pressure and viscosity without loss of performance.Belt ConveyorsEuroby offers the sales of purposely designed powered telescopic andslewing belt conveyors for the handling of sewage cake and mostgranular materials in 12, 14 or 18 metre sizes. Standard machinesincorporate slewing, telescopic and infinitely adjustable belt speedcapability.
