Radiator Caps
Evans recommends using a 7 pound pressure cap in high
performance vehicles when running Evans coolants, if
applicable. Low pressure caps are not needed for stock
applications. Evans radiator caps are for coolant recovery systems and fit a
3/4” deep neck. Some systems will require a 13 pound pressure cap.

HDTC (Heavy Duty Thermal Coolant)
Evans HDTC is the waterless cooling solution for heavy duty diesel applica-
tions. It features a huge separation between the operating temperature of
the coolant and its boiling point. HDTC can control metal temperatures at
coolant temperatures that are well above the boiling point of water. With
engine metals protected at higher coolant temperatures, fan turn-on tem-
peratures can be safely increased. Released from the burden of avoiding
the boiling point of water, HDTC waterless coolant enables the safe use of
higher coolant temperatures and sharply reduced fan usage. Thousands of
dollars in fuel savings annually result from that technique.

?Specially formulated for Heavy Duty Engines.
?Stop cylinder liner cavitation and erosion.
?Lasts the lifetime of the engine.
?Increase Efficiency 3% - 7%.
?End after-boil

Coolant Filters
Converting to Evans HDTC requires changing to a blank coolant filter.
Thermostats
To acheive increased fuel economy Evans suggests installing a higher tem-
perature thermostat.

Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant is the most popular Evans Waterless
Coolant. NPG+ is the recommended coolant for all gasoline and light duty
diesel engines. NPG+ is a year-round lifetime
coolant. No other cooling system modifica-
tions are required for a stock vehicle to run
NPG+. Simply drain the entire cooling system
and fill with NPG+. NPG+ is safe for stored
vehicles and vehicles operated in extreme
cold conditions. Motorcycles and small
engines are suggested to use Evans Prep
Fluid as a flush prior to installing NPG+.

Evans NPGR Waterless Coolant is designed to
tolerate the intense heat created while racing.
NPGR has maximum heat absorption capa-
biliteis. NPGR is NOT recommended for cold

Evans Waterless Technology Coolants are chemically blended coolants that
result in more efficient engine cooling. Lack of coolant vaporization results
in better metal temperature contol. The increased coolant boiling point
eliminates boil over, cavitation and detonation. Evans Waterless
Technology eliminates electrolysis and corrosion in the cooling system. All
Evans Waterless Technology Coolants require the entire cooling system to
be drained and refilled 100% with one of the Evans Waterless Coolants.

PREPFLUID1 gallon
Evans Prep Fluid is a waterless cooling sys-
tem flush. It is designed to seek out the rea-
maing water in a cooling system after draining
for conversion to NPG+ or NPGR. Prep Fluid
should be used when block drains are
unavailable or cannot be removed. It is not a
substitute for thoroughly draining the cooling
system and related components. A minimum
of 1 gallon of Prep Fluid is recommended for
all motorcycles converting to NPG+ or NPGR.
Prep Fluid is NOT intended to be a stand
alone coolant. It is designed as a flush only.

Evans Waterless Technology Coolantsare chemically blended coolants that
result in more efficient engine cooling.

Thousands of
dollars in fuel savings annually result from that technique.

engine metals protected at higher coolant temperatures, fan turn-on tem-
peratures can be safely increased. Released from the burden of avoiding
the boiling point of water, HDTC waterless coolant enables the safe use of
higher coolant temperatures and sharply reduced fan usage. Thousands of
dollars in fuel savings annually result from that technique.

Small block and big block Chevy racing pumps are manufactured by Evans.
They feature 356-T6 aluminum heat treated housings and Evans CAD CAM
designed 8-vane 4.4” O.D. high efficiency impeller, which is capable of the
highest gallon per minute flow rate in the industry. The pump eye and inlet
cross section have been increased by 20% for decreased draw restriction.
Extra material is added for external lines and the housing has been
machined to accept a Viton O-ring for a positive seal with the back cover.

Coolant Filters
Converting to Evans HDTC requires changing to a blank coolant filter.
Thermostats
To acheive increased fuel economy Evans suggests installing a higher tem-
perature thermostat.
