Prevention is better than cure Fires in companies occur more frequently and the total damage constantly increases. Scientific studies demon-strate that the first 15 minutes are crucial to control a fire. In all of these scenarios, available information plays a leading role: information about the situation, the building, the activity and the occupation at the moment of inter-vention. Due to the legislation, the government is urging companies to collect and structure the data them-selves. IOS Mapper software assists you with this. IOS Mapper Fire Safety can be used to collect, adjust and process relevant fire prevention data “on the spot”, and to draw up fire intervention dossiers and fire evacuation plans. IOS Domain Fire Safety The domain Fire Safety gives you the possibility to define all risk elements regarding fire safety. The domain Fire safety includes the module Fire Intervention and the module Evacuation. With the module Fire Intervention you can define information re-garding fire intervention and create reports such as an IDI (Intervention Dossier), an IFI (Intervention card), a PIP (Pre Incident Planning) A3 report and an object card. The module Fire Intervention is a multi region module, in accor-dance with the local legislation. There are 4 different libraries, each compliant to the pictograms used in a specific region: Fire Intervention B (for Belgium) Fire Intervention NL (for The Netherlands) Fire Intervention FR (for France) Fire Intervention D (for Germany) The module Evacuation allows you to collect and manage infor-mation for the creation of an evacuation plan. * ANPI: Belgian association of fire and intrusion prevention IOS Reporting Fire Safety Intervention dossier A full intervention dossier for the external and/or internal fire depart-ment, with all the information of a specific site/sector/building/floor based on the specifications of the ANPI* Technical Dossier N°113-114. (A4 page format - rft file type) IFI An overview document with the vital information for the first few min-utes of a fire intervention. (A3 R/V page format - rft file type) Evacuation plan An overview document with the evacuation information related to a specific location. The report (A4 to A1 page format - rft file type) contains a map rotated in the reading direction (automatic rotation) with a ’you are here’ object positioned, a legend, evacuation instructions.
