InfraTech Germany15 - 17 January 2014 Messe Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia Three exhibitions under one roof:InfraTech Germany Exhibition for Civil EngineeringDEUBAUKOM Trade Fair for Architecture, Engineering Skill, Housing Industry, Building Industry and Industrial ConstructionDCONex Trade Fair + congress for hazardous sustances management and remediation Partners:Straßen- und Tiefbau-Verband NRW Baugewerbliche Verbände Exhibition for Civil Engineering, Water and Waste Water, Public Areas, Traffic and Mobility.Infrastructure exhibitionIt is remarkable that Germany did not yet have an exhibition exclusively focused on infra-structure, since it is the country of exhibitions Extensive market research in Germany, Bel-gium, and the Netherlands revealed that there effectively was a need for such a platform. Ahoy Rotterdam now tries to meet that need with InfraTech Germany. The exhibition covers the entire scope of infrastructure and focuses on road construction, water structures, water and waste water, organisation of public areas, traffic and mobility. Link with DEUBAUKOMInfraTech Germany is organised in parallel to the DEUBAUKOM exhibition. This biennial leading construction exhibition has been in existence for 50 years and attracted 55,000 visitors in 2012. The benefit of the link with DEUBAUKOM is that those of DEUBAUKOM's visitors who are interested specifically in in-frastructure can easily combine their trip with a visit to InfraTech. For more information about DEUBAUKOM, visit: www.deubaukom.de. Expanding German infrastructure marketAccording to Euroconstruct, the size of the German infrastructure market was 47.8 billion euros in 2012. This market is anticipated to increase to 48.3 billion euros in 2014. North InfraTech now also a platform in Germany InfraTech is an established exhibition for the civil engineering sector in the Netherlands. This exhibition will be held for the 10th time in 2013. Ahoy Rotterdam is currently also launching InfraTech in Germany: from 15 January to 17 January 2014 in Messe Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, at the same time as DEUBAUKOM. Rhine-Westphalia, where the exhibition is slated to be held, will be the most important region in Europe for construction in the next years. This region counts more than 18 million inhabitants, consists of 396 municipalities, and contains 29 of the 80 largest German cities. 18% of the German motorways are located in North Rhine-Westphalia. Moreover, as the region borders the Netherlands and Bel-gium, it constitutes an appealing sales market for Dutch and Belgian companies.
