Manual sand ?lters to be used in the reduction of the water colloidal and sedimentation turbidity. They are speci?cally used in various processes of primary or waste water treatment. The ?uid to be ?ltered passes through a multilayer bed made of anthracite (low density mineral ) and pure quartz sand in various grain sizes.
